The Dow Live Earth Run for Water
The Dow Live Earth Run for Water takes place at Exposition Park with a 6km run/walk, symbolic of the average distance many women and children walk every day to get water. After the race, participants explore a water education village and experience a live musical performance by singer Tawny Ellis and two-time GRAMMY Award-winner Melissa Etheridge. The event taking place in 150 cities around the world over 24 hours, is the largest worldwide water initiative on record to help combat the global water crisis. (Photo by Ringo H.W.
