Hispanic same-sex female couple receive green card interview

Yamileth Escobar, right, and Maria de los Angeles Dominguez, a bi-national lesbian Latina couple (Yamileth, a U.S. Citizen, is of Salvadoran decent while Maria is an immigrant from Mexico), leave the Federal Building after  an immigration green card interview on Wednesday November 6, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.  Yamileth and Maria became the first Hispanic same-sex female couple to receive an immigration green card interview, also the first female same-sex couple to legally marry in the state following the State Supreme Court's 2008 decision.
